Ambassador Program

Our ambassador program is unlike any other leadership program. We believe a girl increases her confidence and happiness when she is challenged to do things outside of her comfort zone. We create an environment filled with supportive, compassionate teens talking about what life is really like for them.

We have found, if teenage girls feel free to express themselves, they will take bigger, positive risks. If they fail we talk about it and if they succeed we talk about it.

Our ambassadors have had the opportunity to interviewed CEO’s, politicians and entertainers, run a summit with over 400 people and talk to their high school PTO's about our program. Many of our ambassadors have become close friends.

The Ambassador Program begins in March 2017 and runs through the 2017- 2018 academic school year. This leadership program consists of nine meetings and the day long Virginia Girls’ Summit held on October 7, 2017, at George Mason University. The months following the summit the girls will have the opportunity to interview CEO's, politicians and entertainers. The summit has sold out three years in a row with over 400 people in attendance. The ambassadors create and run the entire event. Over the course of our ambassadors program girls will learn about leadership, emotional intelligence, and teamwork. They will gain the skills to handle stress, pressure, and failure. They will learn how to connect with others and how to introduce themselves to adults. They will learn how to give a 30-second “elevator speech” about themselves.

In the end, they will have created an amazing event with an immense social impact on teenage girls, parents, teachers and mentors, interviewed prominent women, met girls from over 25 different schools and developed confidence and courage.
